From July 1 to 7, this event, in its thirtieth edition, pays homage to dance expressions through performances by different groups that highlight folkloric identity and memory.

The participating groups are chosen through a rigorous call.

The festival is named after a woman who promoted Colombian folklore, fostering culture through dance in Tumaco and Buenaventura for decades.
